iPhone 3GS is now specified in camera metadata with iPhone OS 3.1 (Updated)

After updating to iPhone OS 3.1, the “Camera Model” metadata in pictures taken with the 3GS now says “Apple iPhone 3GS.” Prior to 3.1, it simply said “Apple iPhone” as all iPhones always have. I don’t know if the tag is updated for the original and the 3G to set them apart.

Update: Reader Pat confirms that metadata was updated for the iPhone 3G as well.
