Apple’s new Reminders app in iOS 5 can remind you to do something by a specific time or when you arrive at a location—whichever comes first.

To set this up, create your reminder using either Siri or old ‘n busted text entry in the Reminders app. Then, tap the reminder and the Remind Me section, and enable both reminder options: “On a Day” and “At a Location.” Check the bottom of the Remind Me page for an explanation of how the reminder will actually work.

So far, I can’t get Reminders to enable both alert options simply with Siri. Commands like “Remind me to let the dogs out by five o’clock or when I get home” results in one alert option or the other getting enabled, but not both. Anyone know if Siri has a syntax for enabling both reminder options?
