Apple just released its standalone, simply titled Podcasts and there are plenty of interesting features and unique polish. For starters, it’s very easy and obvious to subscribe to a show for automatic episode delivery or stick to downloading individual episodes. And if you’re feeling nostalgic, Podcasts displays an old-school, animated tape-to-tape reel on the Now Playing screen.
