If you don’t have an internet connection, Safari no longer delivers nothing but bad news. As of version 6, released in Mountain Lion and to Lion users as an upgrade, Safari now promotes Reading List (and its newfound ability to save full articles offline) as something for you to do until your internet connection returns.
