If you start dragging a song or album in iTunes 11’s new album view, a panel containing all your playlists and devices quickly slides in from the right. Drop your item where it needs to go and the panel disappears.

This makes it easy to stick with the new album view but still use drag-and-drop to organize your media and take some of it with you.
