Digg, a news aggregator and feed reader, can alert you to the stories that are getting popular and discussed among Twitter friends. In the free iOS app you can open the sidebar, tap Digg Deeper, and give it access to your Twitter account.

On a desktop click the new Dig Deeper banner on the right or enter Settings, enable the Dig Deeper option, and authorize Twitter.
