I’m not sure how long this has been the case (maybe iOS 8?), but I stumbled across iTunes Extras for Guardians of the Galaxy on my iPhone. In testing other films, it seems we don’t have a choice in whether to download the Extras along with the film; the download manager in iTunes for Mac downloads them as two separate files, and you can cancel the Extras if you don’t want them.

But seriously, it’s Guardians of the Galaxy. You want the extras. The gag reel alone is worth it.

Note: iTunes links here and on my social accounts are affiliate links (but not paid placement). If you click them and buy anything in the store over the next 24 hours, you’ll send a small kickback my way to support Finer Things in Tech. Thanks!
