If you look up directions in Apple Maps for Mac, you can send them to your iOS device in two clicks. Click the share button, then your traveling iOS companion at the top of the menu.

Note: Like many of these cross-device sharing features, all involved devices must be using the same primary iCloud account. That’s also what allows the new Handoff feature to shift your current task or document between devices with a swipe or click.
