Our long, national, single-stop directions nightmare is over. In iOS 16 and macOS Ventura (13.0), Apple Maps finally gained the option to add multiple stops for driving directions. I specify driving because this option disappears for transit, walking, and bike directions.

Adding another stop is simple:

  • Before tapping ‘Go’ to start the route, tap the ‘Add Stop’ button below the current destination’s name
  • Add the next stop
  • Optionally, you can reorder stops in the list by tap-and-dragging their handles on the right
  • Go
