Hi, I’m David Chartier and I’m obsessed with productivity and polish. I’ve written for Macworld, Ars Technica, The Mac Observer, MacStories, TUAW, and other publications.
I created Finer Things in Tech in 2009 to celebrate the great features and delightful surprises in our apps and devices, as well as the developers and engineers who spend long hours to create them. Through useful bite-sized posts and occasional longer articles, Finer Things in Tech explores how we can get the most out of our technology.
The things I write here are my own and do not reflect any policies, intentions, opinions, or diddley squat about my employers or clients. If a post is sponsored, it will be clearly marked as such in the headline.
I use affiliate link services on this site and its social profiles, such as Performance Horizon (Apple’s choice for App Store and iTunes content) and Amazon Affiliates. If I write about and link something you plan to download, please use my links as a way to help support Finer Things in Tech.
I use Creative-Commons-licensed images from time to time on this site and always strive to adhere to the license and provide attribution, even when not required. In addition to any images I have used and credited in posts, I sometimes use the following CC-licensed images from Flickr:
